Friday night was BBQ night for BBLers.
The rain held off for a lovely evening to celebrate what has been a successful season and say thank you to Jo, who will be retiring as our Head Coach.
Jo has spent the last six years coaching, rowing and sculling at BBL and has been instrumental in making the club the success that it is today. Jo was presented with an original photo of Barnes Bridge from local photographer Gareth Gardner.
We used the opportunity to celebrate our crews competing in Henley were presented with engraved mementos to remember their efforts.
Thank you Chris for manning the BBQ, it was unusual feeling for the Captain. Also thank you to everybody for their nibbles, salads and desserts, a team effort that made for a great evening. Finally a big thank you to Sian and Liz for managing front of house.
