Thursday night was SPORTSNIGHT.
BBL Patron, John Inverdale hosted with guests Helen Glover and Garry Herbert.
Dukes Meadows Golf and Tennis Centre was a great venue for BBL’s inaugural fundraiser.
Fun was had with the sports quiz icebreaker. Helen and Garry were great guests, giving brilliant insights into their rowing experiences.
Raffle tickets were expertly sold by Sue and Sharon. There was furious bidding for the England v Ireland Six Nations Rugby match tickets, eventually being won by telephone bidder for £650. The fundraising total nearly reaching two thousand pounds!
A great night was had by all.
Thanks to the support of all those who attended bough raffle tickets and made it a thoroughly enjoyable evening.
